Learnt to use a MAC computer! I’ve seen someone else use one before in GCSE Media but never had the mouse to myself. Yea, I’m not converted to a MAC person for sure.

Begun to understand how to use Final Cut Pro; a very important piece of editorial tool for the media based world (I type “begun” with very good reasoning).

 

Skills Analysis

Gained experience in creating and analysing charts (made in Microsoft Word, pasted into Paint and uploaded]

Learnt how to create image links with HTML

Discovered completely by accident you can add bullet points and change the colour of the text on the blog that says when thing were posted. Only problem is I don’t know how to do this, as it was by accident, which is annoying as I don’t want bullet points there and I want to change the colour!

UPDATE OF ABOVE BULLET: I now know how to fix the above problem.

Learnt how to use a Dictaphone

Gained more experience in editing when I edited the interview clips in Movie Maker.

Found out video can’t be uploaded on Flickr or WordPress which forced me to set up an account with Youtube. As a result I learnt about uploading videos onto said site, improving my knowledge of something with such widespread usage.

Researched into HTML and learnt how to create bullet points & make a scroll text box.

Skillls Analysis

Learnt how to upload files (Powerpoint, music, videos) onto WordPress to be accessed via a link for download of the file.

Found out how to customize the header.
